Chanchal Chowdhury Says His Acting in Karagar-2 a Reflection of Personal Feeling
Actor Chanchal Chowdhury has described his performance in the Hoichoi original series "Karagar-2" as an expression of deeply personal emotions rather than acting alone.
In a social media post, Chanchal reflected on the emotional circumstances surrounding his work in the second season of the mystery thriller.
He shared a poem written by Dibyo Jyoti, who portrayed the younger version of professor David Adams in the series.
Chanchal wrote that the emotions expressed through his character closely reflected what he was experiencing personally at the time. He felt that both he and Dibyo were drawing from genuine emotions rather than simply performing their roles.
The actor connected those feelings with a difficult period in his personal life, revealing in the post that his father had been in intensive care on life support for 13 days.
He said Dibyo’s poem appeared to capture thoughts and emotions connected to his unconscious father in a way that deeply affected him.
According to Chanchal, Dibyo’s mother, actress Shahnaz Khushi, later read the poem at the hospital. The moment became so emotional that they were unable to hold back their tears.
